The course structure is quite different of these two colleges. You should look at the course and subjects and then decide. Switching your domain and selecting your college is a tough decision. So take the best option after thorough research.

In my batch overall 58% students have work experience but very few have work experience more than 4 years. In my opinion, it will be around 4-5% of entire batch.

The test for each company is different some take aptitute some take psychometric so you really cannot generalise the test process for placements, some dont even take tests rather just shortlist on basis of CV. The admission process involves the aspirants giving SNAP exam followed by GD and PI process.

The campus life is great since this a hill top campus and there is a big advantage of the residential program. Also placement drives do happen and you can find out the placement reports here : http://www.sibm.edu/welcome/placement_report

Yes you are eligible for snap provided you pass your graduation with minimum 50 percentage in grad degree.

Yes, finance job is better than HR job. Its simple mathematics, for around 50-60 employees, a company recruits one HR personnel. Whereas, a finance requirement is driven by business and not by employee numbers.
