Both are same if you intend to do a job, but you plan on getting a PHd after that you will need additional certificate from your university claiming that PGDM is equivalent to MBA.

Hi Rikit, It does not matter of which stream you choose because most people from science, commerce, humanities or say any other field can get into a business course. All that matters is the level of performance you show in these streams and later in the entrance for these exams.

There is no profile based cutoff in snap. It will be flat around 98 percentile for all profiles. Your profile only helps you in GD PI WAT and your profile is good for the same,.

You may get admission in MBA college but in placement it will be tough to get shortlisted for few companies that have gap rules but then again your overall profile will be evaluated in shortlisting for MBA and placements

The first step is to give the SNAP Test post which if you clear the cut off you will be called for an interview in which you have to go through the GE PIWAT process and after that, if you are selected you will be sent out your call letter and you shall be eligible for paying fees and securing a seat in the esteemed institute. For the placement report you can visit the following link : http://www.sibm.edu/welcome/placement_report

You first need to give SNAP exam. And score marks enough to get qualify for GD-PI processes. The admission for MBA course will be decided on your combined score of SNAP and GD-PI processes.

That is not true. SIBM had no management seats. Admission is only on merit bases. You must appear for a SNAP test and go through the GEPIWAT process to secure a seat.

Your profile score is not considered for SIBM,Pune admissions. But it should definitely be above 50% to be eligible for SNAP entrance exam. Also, your graduation aggregate percentages may considered in your overall profile assessment during placement or interviews for recruitment. So, it it always advisable to keep your percentage high enough.
