The intake capacity for the MBA in Fisheries Enterprises Management at Tamil Nadu Fisheries University (TNFU) typically varies based on the universitys guidelines and infrastructure. However, the number of students admitted each year is usually limited to ensure quality education and effective industry exposure.

While specific figures may change annually, TNFU generally admits a modest number of students, likely in the range of 30 to 50 for such specialised programs. This allows for personalized attention and practical learning experiences.

Most of the M.Sc. students get the placements at Tamil Nadu Fisheries University (TNFU) quite well, around 98% placement on completion of their course. The average salary offered however, is Rs 12,000 which is less as compared to some other sectors. This is because the university in question is oriented towards fish and fisheries alone – an ever growing industry which branches into so many others. More often during campus placements, the best hiring companies do not come but the students are able to secure a placement with some associated firm in the fisheries industry.

Tamil Nadu Fisheries University ensures placement only to the extent of 26% of its students, which happens to be the placement statistic for students, especially under B.F.Sc in the last reports received. Only some of them could find employment in appropriate fields. The highest salary package that the university has so far reported to the students is around INR 2.7 lakhs per annum. While TNFU provides much support through its placement cell and even offers internships to some extent, the actual placements vary considerably across students. Hence, though TNFU is making an honest effort towards placements, it cannot ensure 100% job plac
