Tamil Nadu board is strictly against the practise of using any unfair means during the examinations. The board is actively working to prevent and discourage any malpractice during board examinations every year.
So, you are advised to go through the TN 12th syllabus and solve as many previous years question papers and sample papers to avoid cheating during the TN 12th board exams.

You must not forget to carry your Tamil Nadu 12th admit card 2026 on all exam days. In case you forget, you will not be allowed to write the exam. Along with the TN 12th admit card 2026, students must also carry their pens, pencils, ruler, geometry box etc.

No, you will not be allowed to write the TN 12th exam without the admit card. Students must carry the TN 12th hall ticket to appear for the TN Plus two board exam.

If a student is not able to attend a Tamil Nadu 12th board exam, he will be given zero marks in the subject. The student will have to appear for the supplementary exam. Hence students are advised not to skip the board exam.

Students must not carry the follow items to exam hall.
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pagers, fitness bands, cameras, etc.
- Wallets, goggles, handbags, and purses.
- They must carry all the stationary items that are required to appear for the TN 12th board exams since sharing of stationary is not allowed.

Education Ministry of India has announced that Boards will conduct Board exams twice a year from the academic session 2025-26 and that students will be allowed to retain the best score. However, Tamil Nadu board is yet to release any official notification in this regard.
The Ministry also announced that students of Class 9, 10 will be required to learn three languages, two of which will be Indian languages. Class 11 and 12 students will need to learn two languages, one of which will be Indian. Read more here.
