Candidates are awarded 1 mark for every correct response. There is a penalty of 1/4 marks for each incorrect response. Marking two responses also lead to negative marking.

In the TANCET Reading Comprehension section, candidates will get one mark for each correct response marked by them. However, candidates will loose 1/4 mark for each incorrect response marked by them in the exam. Candidates must strategise attempting the questions to avoid negative marking. Knowing the TANCET marking scheme helps candidates plan the answers better. Therefore, candidates must practise with sample papers and mock tests to help them improve their time management in the exam. This will inturn help candidates improve accuracy while answering questions.

Anna University may consider changing the TANCET exam mode from offline to online. Since the exam has fewer audience as compared to other competitive exams, offline exam becomes easy to manage. Candidates prefer an online exam over the offline OMR based exam. The decision with the change in the exam mode shall lie with the conducting body.

The TANCET examination is conducted through offline mode . Candidate have to answer the questions by marking the correct answer in their OMR sheet.

For MBA admission, the TANCET exam consists of five portions. Every section of the TANCET exam carries the same amount of weight. Each of the five exam portions carries 20% of the total exam weight, according to Anna University. There are 20 questions in the Eacg segment, for a total of 100 questions. Each section of the TANCET exam, incliding the Business Situation Analysis section have equal question weightage. A total of 100 questions appear in the TANCET MBA question paper with each section having 20 questions. Each question have four options with one correct option. Candidates need to mark the bubble for the correct option in the OMR sheet.

No, there is no definite pattern of the questions from certain topics in the TANCET exam. The candidates are required to cover all TANCET sections and topics under these sections. Anna University can cover any topic to define the questions from the section stipulated in the TANCET syllabus.

Yes, the TANCET MBA question paper will have 20 questions each from five sections i.e. Business Situation Analysis, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency and English Usage. In TANCET MCA exam, there are four sections, therefore with equal weightage each section has 25 questions.

As per the TANCET exam pattern, the total duration to answers all 100 MCQs is 120 minutes. There is no sectional time limit in TANCET exam.

TANCET exam coprises as many as 100 objective type questions. TANCET MBA exam has five sections with equal question weightage. Therefore, each section will have 20 questions each. Candidates have to answer all the questions. However, in case of incorrect responses, candidates will face a penalty of 1/3 mark. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark.
