At the GIBS Business School, placement preparation starts early on, not just in the last year of school. The school places strong emphasis on continual training so that when students do get placed there is sufficient training at the time the actual placements take place.

  • Starting from the first year: Students receive training during the first trimester through programs such as the Finishing School (CPMP) program.
  • Continuous skill development: Throughout the entire course, students receive continuous skill development with respect to aptitude, communication, resume writing, and both group discussion (GD) and interview skills.

The teaching methodology for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy at St. Mary's Rehabilitation University powered by Emversity focuses on being "job-ready." Unlike many universities that follow older curricula, this programme is designed with heavy industry input via Emversity. This means students are trained on the latest medical equipment and techniques used in top hospitals today. The focus is on skill development and hands-on practice, ensuring that when you finish your five-year degree, you have the practical confidence that other colleges might not provide.

For GIBS Bangalore 2025 placements, things went really well. The highest package offered was around 16–20 LPA, and the average package was about 8 LPA. A lot of students got placed, and more than 250 companies came for hiring. Some of the top recruiters were HDFC Bank, Wipro, Bajaj Finance, Accenture, Flipkart, PhonePe, and Asian Paints. Personally, I got placed in Asian Paints with 9.5 LPA, which was a big moment for me and shows the kind of opportunities GIBS gives. That's why GIBS is considered as one of the top business schools in Bangalore for placements.
