Yes, University of Iowa chooses to be test optional for international students and does not require any additional test scores. Students who completed their secondary school outside the United States are not required to submit test score of ACT/SAT for undergraduate admission. Also there is no test score (GRE/GMAT) required for graduate admission, but can strengthen your application for admission and scholarship eligibility.

If your IELTS test is cancelled because of natural disasters or technical problems, IDP India has rules for this. You will get either a full refund of your test fee or the option to reschedule your IELTS test to another date.

You can book IELTS slot in India any time in the year. But in some months, many students book fast. The peak season is usually in November-December, February-March, and August.

If you want your preferred date and test center, you should book IELTS 2-3 months early. This way you don't miss your seat.

The IELTS exam deadline is not same for all. It change with test center and date.

  • On the IDP website you can see your test date and check Important Dates.
  • You can also ask the test center. They will tell you the right last date.
