The B.E degrees in computer engineering and information technology (IT) at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) both have excellent placement histories. The NIRF 2024 Report states that 405 undergraduate students were hired during the 2023 placement drive with a median wage of 5,00,000. Publicly available information does not provide specific placement numbers for individual programs. Nonetheless top recruiters like Accenture, Amdocs, Capgemini, Infosys and TCS are drawn to both disciplines suggesting that there are plenty of placement chances in both areas.

Founded in 2001 Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) is a well-known engineering school in Mumbai It has a 'A' grade from NAAC and is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. TCET was placed 193rd in the engineering category of the 2019 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
