Generally, a B.Tech at Thiruvalluvar University is quite cheaper than the private colleges offering an engineering degree.

Being a government institution, the university charges lower fees which may range from INR 2,000 to 3,000 per annum.

Although there are some additional compulsory fees which totals to around INR 7,270 taken in the first year (excluding the refundable deposits), these are manageable for most students.

The main undergraduate and graduate programs offered at Thiruvalluvar University, which is situated in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, are in the fields of arts, science and commerce. To the best of my knowledge, the university's academic offerings do not currently include a B.Tech program.

However, B.Tech programs are offered by organizations such as Anna University's Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) in Vandavasi. With an authorized intake of roughly 90 students per discipline, TCET provides 11 B.Tech specializations including information technology, computer science and engineering, and mechanical engineering.
