But you must also check the colleges you are comparing, which SPP college are you talking about? TRU for your information is a decent university not a highly ranked one. See if the SPP college and even TRU you are referring to has lateral entry options to partnering universities. Many colleges allow students to transfer to a university for their Masters after completing PG Diploma.

Dalhousie Unievrsity and University of Victoria are Canada's two of the most popular and competitive universities. Thompson River University is yet gain a respectable university. If you ask about selectivity then Dalhousie and Victoria are more selective or rather competitive. Hope it helped.
