TMISAT

1. Age Limit:
Applicants must not be more than 21 years of age, as on September 1, 2017. Female applicants must be 22 years as on September 1, 2017.
The minimum age limit is 17 years.
2. Qualifying Exam & Pass Percentage:
Applicants must have passed 10+2 securing minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
Applicants who have appeared in 10+2 in the year 2017 will be considered eligible to take TMISAT 2017.
3. Subjects to study in qualifying exam:
They need to score the qualifying marks taking Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together in 10+2.
4. Other Boards:
Candidates who have appeared in International Board need to submit an Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian University along with relevant documents as mentioned below, while submitting the filled-in application form.
5. Entrance Exam:
All applicants must have appeared and qualified in IMUCET for the year 2017.
6. Medical Fitness.

Tolani Maritime Institute is conducting TMISAT 2018 in the first week of May. TMISAT 2018 examination AIMS to test the problem solving skills, language skills, reasoning skills, subject knowledge, and general knowledge, and aptitude and personality traits of the candidates. It includes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics sections.

I personally suggest you to just follow NCERT and prepare on your own, without much reference to other books. We will help you through mentoring from time to time in any case of difficulties that you face during your preparations.

It's held in June, maximum of the times every year. Before applying for the exam, you need to have a passport and medical fitness certificate by Doctors approved by Director General of Shipping. Appearing candidates can also apply but they have to qualify their examination on or before May 31, 2018. The other criterion is physical fitness.
Candidates, those seek admission to marine courses (DG Shipping-approved courses) have to produce a medical fitness certificate which is approved by the Director General of Shipping. Candidates with Disability (DA), are not eligible for admission to marine programme. Candidates have to be physically fit & meet the medical necessities as specified by DGS guidelines.
Eye Sight:
Candidates must have good binocular vision. Their vision should be 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately. Candidates joining B.Tech (Marine Engineering) degree course, their vision should be unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each eye or 0.67 (6/9) in the better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in the other eye. Those who applied for DNS, B.Sc (Nautical Science) & B.Sc (Maritime Science) degree course, their vision should be unaided 1.0 (6/6) in the better eye and 0.67 (6/9) in the other eye.
