The important dates related to the TNEA application process for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses at Paavai Engineering College are typically as follows: the online application is opened in first week of May while the last date for the submission of the online application is in last week of May. The random number process is conducted in mid June while the rank list is released in second week of June. Counseling usually starts early in July usually on the third week.

Both ranks are considered. Candidates are allotted seats as per the reservation of seats, availability of seats and ranks of the candidates. TNEA open competition rank list is for all the seats and TNEA SC, ST, OBC, PWD, etc. Category rank list for the reserved seats. TNEA is a state-level counselling held for seat allotment in Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges, University Departments and Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University. The TNEA 2026 counselling will end in September 2026.

BE/B.Tech admission in Tamil Nadu is done based on the online counselling process called TNEA. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. Candidates have to register and appear for the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA counselling held every year. 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Hello Vishal, First graduate is not an essential Certificate to participate in TNEA counselling. If you are a first graduate and if you want reduction in the college fee, then only you can submit the first graduate. Otherwise, if you don't provide First graduate Certificate you won't get the fee reduction. You can also provide the first graduate Certificate during the second year in the respective college to get the fee reduction.
