  • Adhar Card
  • Driving Licence
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Any identity proof issued by the Government/college authority

The canddidates can see below the process to download the TNPSC Group 2 admit card/hall ticket from the official website -

  • Go to the official website-tnpsc.gov.in
  • On the right-hand side "Candidate's Corner" menu will appear
  • From the given menu, click on the "On-line Services" button
  • Click on the "Hall Ticket Download" button just appeared in the drop-down list
  • The link will open a new window
  • Click on the "Hall Ticket Download" button given on the right-hand side menu
  • On clicking above, a notification details window will appear
  • Check on the notification number, date, exam name and click on the Activity column showing the "Download Hall Ticket"

The highest post in the TNPSC Group 2 exam is of Municipal Commissioner, Special Assistant (Vigilance and Anti-corruption Department) and Assistant Section Officer Cum Programmer having a pay-scale of INR 36400-115700/- (Level-16). 

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission mention the list of services and their pay scale in the official notification. The Commission also mention the Group of service in the official notification to clarify that which posts require interviews.

The candidate must be a graduate from a recognised university/institution. Besides that, the candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and should not exceed the age of 32 years. The Commission provides the relaxation in upper age limit to the candidates belonging to the reserved category. 

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission mention the TNPSC Group 2 eligibility criteria in the official notification only. The canddiates are suggested to read and understand the eligibility criteria before filling the application.

TNPSC Group 2 notification 2022 was released on February 23, 2022. The commission notified the advertisement for 5,529 vacancies in the notification. The last date to apply for the exam was March 23, 2022. TNPSC Group 2 prelims result 2022 was released online on November 9, 2022. The Commission released the roll number of the qualified candidates. TNPSC Group 2 main exam was conducted on February 25, 2023.

The TNPSC Group 2 Result 2022 is expected to be released online on January 12, 2024.

The following are some of the common reasons for challenging the TNPSC Group 2 answer key:

  • A question is ambiguous
  • A question is factually incorrect
  • A question has two correct answers.

The candidates can send objections against the incorrect questions/answers and send the standard reference along with their objections. The Commission will consider the eligible objections and consider them while preparing the final answer key.

Candidates can challenge the TNPSC Group 2 answer key by submitting their objections online through the TNPSC website. The last date to submit objections was October 14, 2025. The Commission prescribe the format of sending the objections against incorrect questions/answers. The candidates will be required to send the standard references to substantiate their claims. 

The Commission willl change the tentative answer key based on the correct objections and prepare the final answer key based on which the result will be prepared.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is expected to release the TNPSC Group 2 answer key 2024 (Prelims) within a week from the exam. The TNPSC Group 2 exam will be conducted on September 14, 2024. The Commission is expected to release the TNPSC Group 2 answer key 2024 by September 21, 2024.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will release the TNPSC Group 2 answer key after the declaration of final result. The candidate should note that the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission released the annual calendar on its official website mentioning the tentative dates for the TNPSC Group 2 exam events. The Commission only mentioned the month for the events. The TNPSC Group 2 notification 2024 was released on June 20, 2024 and the exam will be conducted on September 14, 2024.
The Commission will conduct the exam in offline mode across the state.
