Tripura University offers a vibrant campus life. It has one of the most secure and safest academic environments in the entire Northeast. No one is granted entry in the university without the identity card. The hostel rooms have surveillance cameras installed every where. Hence, the student's stay is comfortable and secure.

The NSS TU unit organised a training programme on the “Motivation of Youth for Inspiring Rural Reconstruction.'' There are various programmes organised by the university for students. The placement of the institute of chartered analyst of India University tripura for BTech programmes is good as compared to other colleges of the same domain.
The median salary package for UG programme is around Rs. 4,25,000, which is good .
Our of the total 32 students eligible for placement, 23 got placed.
For the 4 year UG programmes, out of 220 eligible students only 35 got placed in companies, which not so much satisfying.
The median salary package offered is approximately rs. 3,00,000
