JEE or JEE-Mains are standard level exams held on international level. By scoring in these exams, you can get admission in any college including NITs. On the other hand, EMCET is a state level exam and it won't help you in getting admission in any IITs or NITs colleges.

The cu-toff varies every year according to the number of students applying for examination and number of seats available. It would be advisable that you get in touch with college authorities/official page directly for accurate cutoff.
