Yes, you need to take a TS EAMCET exam to get into JNTU.
JNTU- H can only be achieved, if you hold a good rank in your TS EAMCET.

You can use the Shiksha rank predictor tool to predict your rank.
The rank predicted by Shiksha is more or less near to the officially declared rank.

CBIT, being one of the top colleges of Hyderabad, holds a high cut off rank for CSE.
Last year, it was below 3k for OC candidates.
It varies with the Category you belong to.

As of last year's stats (2016), you can definitely bag a seat in CBIT.
The fees of the JEE Mains seat and convenor quota seat is same.

Different colleges hold different cut off ranks.
Like for example, Vasavi College of Engineering holds a cut off rank of below 3k for CSE.
Talking about the top 20 colleges of Hyderabad, your rank should be below 20k (as per 2016 stats)
A Max of below 25k to bag a seat in any of the top 20 colleges.

Few of the women's colleges in Hyderabad are: Sridevi engineering college, G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, Malla Reddy College For Women, Stanley College for women etc.
