The minimum qualifying mark for engineering and pharmacy courses is 50% marksin group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). However, candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant GOs at the time of admissions. The official notification for TS PGECET 2025 has been announced on the official website. Online registrations is scheduled to start on March 17, 2025.

The TS PGECET exam is considered to be easier than GATE exam. The GATE, otherwise known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is more concept-based and is competitive in nature. On the other hand, the TS PGECET is a state-level exam is the competition is low.

The TS PGECET application fee can be checked below.
- INR 1100/- for general category candidates
- INR 600/- for category-candidates
Candidates can make the payment online through Netbanking/Credit card/Debit card/UPI. The authorities also allow candidates to submit their application form with a late fee. Candidates who successfully submit their form will be eligible to download their admit card.

The TS PGECET exam is conducted online. The duration of the test is two hours, and it comprises a total of 120 marks. The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the official notification regarding the TS PGECET 2025 exam dates. No, the TS PGECET and GATE syllabus are pretty much same, however, the difficulty level may vary. The GATE syllabus is more ellaborative focusing on concept and practical approaches. On the other hand, the TS PGECET exam syllabus is more direct and falls under easy to moderate. The authorities will release the TS PGECET syllabus on the official website along with the information bulletin.

BVRIT Hyderabad M.Tech admission is subject to a valid score in the TS PGECET 2025 exam. To get a place in the TS EAMCET rank list, candidates have to score at least 25% of the maximum marks in TS EAMCET. Candidates must secure 30 marks out of 120. However, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed for candidates belonging to SC / ST candidates.
