Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology MBA admission is entirely based on the TS ICET exam.  Therefore is important for students to pass the exam with a valid score. To get a valid score, candidates must prepare for the  TSICET exam. 

 TS ICET exam comprises questions from several topics based on three sections. These three sections include - Analytical Ability - Mathematical Ability - Communication Ability Analytical and Mathematical ability sections have 75 questions each. On the contrary, the Communication Ability section has 50 questions. TS ICET syllabus is similar to syllabus of any other MBA entrance exam. Analytical Ability section syllabus is similar to DILR syllabus of CAT. Mathematical Ability section syllabus is similar to Quantitative Aptitude section syllabus of CAT. Similarly, Communication Ability section syllabus is identical to CAT exam's VARC syllabus.

The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) provides admission to 20,481 MBA convener quota seats across various colleges in Telangana. 

A significant number of applicants compete for a limited number of seats for MBA under the HS and AI quota based on TSICET exam, making admission extremely competitive.

For General AI category, the cutoffs are substantially higher than the cutoff for other All India quota seats. A considerably higher score—often lies above 150 out of 200—is typically needed to be surely get eligible for an MBA seat through the HS quota.

A candidate who scores only 2–4 marks above the cutoff is likely to enter a highly competitive zone where their prospects of getting an All India quota seat are unpredictable and dependent on a number of variables, including the distribution of their overall score and the number of seats available.

The number of candidates taking the NEET exam has a direct effect on the cut-off as well. A big candidate pool raises the level of competition and could result in higher cutoffs. The cut-off scores are impacted by the number of seats available in medical colleges.

JNTUH had released the TSICET cutoff across MBA specialisation for different HS quotas. JNTUH MBA cutoff 2024 stood at 279 for School of Management Studies for the General HS category candidates. Similarly, for Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, the cutoff rank stood at 7339. Vardhman College of Engineering cutoff 2024 for Round 1 has been released for MBA course in the form of opening and closing ranks. The closing rank for Vardhman College of Engineering TSICET cutoff 2024 is 3955 for MBA specialisation offered through TSICET scores followed by counselling. Comparing it with the previous years' cutoff, it is observed that there is a decreasing trend in the cutoffs. The cutoff ranks for 2023 and 2022 were 5976 and 20076, respectively.
