The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India, founded the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Gangtok, as one of its units. To increase employment prospects and provide quality labor at a reasonable cost, the institute provides training and educational services.

The average intake at various courses offered at NIELIT is 60. The intake may vary depending on the application form received and thus the seat would be offered to students on a First come First basis.

The placement situation may change from year to year and be influenced by several variables, including the state of the labor market, industry demand, and student performance. However, for better placement prospects, I would suggest you go for higher studies after completing your certificate course from MIELIT, Gangtok so that you can be picked up by the giant business company where you would be able to showcase your abilities even better.
