Hi,You can go for either a regular degree or a correspondence. The college should be UGC approved. The subject of the NET should be the same as that of your Masters degree. Then you can pursue a Ph.D. and become a professor in a reputed university. The Ph.D. eligibility criteria is If you belong to a general category then your minimum post-graduation marks should be more than 55%. For SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates/Women applicants, it should be 50%. It is important to carry the UGC NET Admit Card at Examination Centre as without showing it to the invigilator, you will not be allowed to appear in the exam. So, as soon as officials release the admit card, you are advised to download it and take a printout of itYou are also suggested to read the complete instructions before appearing in the exam. Coming to the problems that can be the reason while a UGC aspirant is not able to download the admit card.
1. )Slow internet- sometime due to network errors or slow internet, candidate is not able to download the admit card.
2. )Eligibility non fulfillment- in case of not fulfilling the eligibility there are chances that authority may not release the UGC NET Admit Card of the candidate.
3. )Incomplete application- Due to any reason such as blur photo or unsigned application, if your application is incomplete then Admit card will not be issued by NTA.
