Umea University scholarships selections are based entirely on the applicant's academic merit. A committee appointed by the Vice-Chancellor is tasked with selecting candidates for scholarships. International students must meet the minimum eligibility to get international scholarships offered by Umea University. Check below Umea University scholarships for international students:

• Citizen of a country outside of EU/EEA and Switzerland.
• Have completed your application for programme studies (before the application deadline of Jan 15) and have paid the application fee by Feb 1 the latest.
• Have Umea University programme as priority 1 at the University Admissions website.
