The university has programme, course, and country-specific requirements for international students. In general, the country-specific requirements for Indian aspirants are as given below for each programme.
Undergraduate Admissions
- Indian students are required to have a minimum of 70% in Grade 12
- English language proficiency with tests like IELTS or TOEFL or PTE
Postgraduate Admissions

The University of Derby provides overseas students with scholarship opportunities. The bulk of scholarships are given out in accord with the merit and academic excellence of the applicants. They include, among others:
