The seat allotment for all courses including the BTech course at University of Jammu is decided by the ranks scored by a candidate in the CUET exam. Yes, there is seat reservation for the Jammu University BBA course. As per the new reservation policy of the government and the latest Statutes of the University of Jammu. 50% of the seats are reserved for the General and the open category and the rest 50% is distributed among other special categories such as SC, ST, PWD, Residents of Backward Areas, Other Backward Classes (OBC), etc.

Yes, Jammu University does after BA or Bachelor's of Arts. The BA course is offered in a full-time mode lasting for three years.  The BA course is offered across multiple specialisations including English (Honours), Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, Hindi, Economics, etc. Admission to the BA course is subject to the national-level exam Common University Entrance Test UG 2025. Candidates must follow the CUET admission process followed by the in-house counselling process for finalising the admission.
