The Central University of Jammu is funded by the Government of India and is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Education. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research-oriented programs in various fields.

It is famous for their college campus and the faculty members who are very polite and supportive. The Campus Is very big. It's around 650 Acres., All Engineering Branches Are Affiliated From ISRO And DRDO

Commonly, it is famous for placements'

 From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are OLA, Uber, etc., and we have our CSE branch affiliated with DRDO and Our ECE branch affiliated with ISRO. the best students from every branch will get a chance to do an internship in ISRO or DRDO. In our University around 60% of students get placement.

University of Jammu releases results in the form of merit lists. Candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to the University of Jammu within the due date for each counselling round and submit the fees. After fee submission, candidates are required to verify the required documents to confirm their seats for final admission at the University of Jammu. If the confirmation of admission is not done before the final date, then the allotment will be cancelled.
