No, the GRE is not mandatory for the University of Kansas. However, the university recommends master's and PhD students take exams and submit scores to create a positive impact on their resumes. Along with the GRE scores, students must submit documents, such as writing samples, a personal statement, test scores, GPA scores, a letter of recommendation, a CV/resume, and more.

The application requirements for UG at the University of Kansas for international students are given below:

- Proof of high school graduation.
- Unofficial transcripts of academic records.
