University of Mysore admissions are both merit & entrance-based. The university conducts the PGEE for all the available PG courses that the university offers. Additionally, the university also accepts national or even state-level entrance examinations for admission to specific programmes. The entrance examinations accepted are MAT, CAT, Karnataka PGCET, KCET, etc. The university releases a merit list to announce the names of shortlisted aspirants.
