As per the university's rules of reservation, a total of 28% of seats are reserved for the SC/ST candidates. Out of this, 16% and 12% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe candidates, respectively.

The University of Rajasthan offers a total of 485 seats for admission to the MEd programme. Thus, a total of 485 students can enroll in the MEd programme in one academic year.
