Yes, the University of the Fraser Valley allows students to work while studying in the university. Students have access to working on-campus during their semester. They can get work experience and schedule their work hours so that it do not interfere with the student's courses. Once a candidate has been a student for six months, they can also apply for an off-campus work permit.

Yes, University of the Fraser Valley offers limited, but generous scholarships to their international students. Candidates do not need to apply separately for these scholarships as they are automatically considered when they apply to UFV if they meet the eligibility criteria. Prospective students of the University of the Fraser Valley can apply through the application portal available on the university's website. While applying to UFV, students are required to submit the documents listed below:

Bachelor's Courses:

  • Application fee of $150 = INR 12,486; and
  • High school transcript (s); OR
  • Interim high school transcript (s) - if currently enrolled in Grade XII; and

Based on the ratio of admissions to applications,  University of the Fraser Valley's acceptance rate stands at 84%. Since, the stats are on the higher end, we can conclude that UFV is a not a very competitive university to get in. Once an applicant fulfills University of the Fraser Valley's admission requirements, ie; competitive grades, English language requirements as well as relevant documents, they are most likely to secure an admission in the university. University of the Fraser Valley sends an official letter of acceptance, once a student is considered eligible to be selected for the programme they applied for. When the candidate receives an offer of admission, they must submit payment to confirm their acceptance. If they do not meet the payment deadline, they will have to re-apply for a future semester.

University of the Fraser Valley's programs inlcude an extensive portfolio of more than 110 programs and 700 courses across 40 fields, on all levels of study, ie; bachelor's degrees, graduate certificates and diplomas, post-baccalaureate programs, master's degrees, continuing education certificates, trades and apprenticeship programs, upgrading and more. University of the Fraser Valley accepts country-specific qualifications from Indian students and they must be fulfilled by the applicants in order to secure an enrollment in UFV. These entry requirements comprise of the following:

English language requirements:

  • 65% & Above in English in Grade XII; OR
  • IELTS: 6.5 & Above (with a minimum band score of 6.0); OR
  • TOEFL: 88 & Above (with no section below 20).

University of the Fraser Valley's admission requirements for international students comprise of proof of proficiency in the English language as a major entry requirement. However, Indian students can study in UFV is they hold 65% or greater in English in Grade XII as it fulfills the university's English language requirements.
