University of the Fraser Valley sends an official letter of acceptance, once a student is considered eligible to be selected for the programme they applied for. When the candidate receives an offer of admission, they must submit payment to confirm their acceptance. If they do not meet the payment deadline, they will have to re-apply for a future semester.

Once a candidate has applied to the University of the Fraser Valley within the deadlilnes and submitted all the application materials required, it takes UFV a time span of about six weeks to review application and confirm whether the applicant is eligible to be selected for the programme they applied for. If admitted, students receive an official letter of acceptance, which may be conditional. When the candidate receives an offer of admission, they must submit payment to confirm their acceptance. Prospective students of the University of the Fraser Valley can apply through the application portal available on the university's website. UFV admits international students through three intake seasons, namely: Fall term (September to December), Winter term (January to April) and Summer Term (May to August). While applying, undergraduate students are required to pay an application fee of $150 = INR 12,486*. Whereas, graduates must pay a sum of $250 = INR 20,810*. University of the Fraser Valley's programs inlcude an extensive portfolio of more than 110 programs and 700 courses across 40 fields, on all levels of study, ie; bachelor's degrees, graduate certificates and diplomas, post-baccalaureate programs, master's degrees, continuing education certificates, trades and apprenticeship programs, upgrading and more. The annual tuition fees required to pursue a degree course at UFV is below 10L on an average, which can be considered very affordable as a study abroad option. University of the Fraser Valley accepts country-specific qualifications from Indian students and they must be fulfilled by the applicants in order to secure an enrollment in UFV. These entry requirements comprise of the following:
English language requirements:
- 65% & Above in English in Grade XII; OR
- IELTS: 6.5 & Above (with a minimum band score of 6.0); OR
- TOEFL: 88 & Above (with no section below 20).
Academic Requirements (as per the course of choice):
1) Business Administration Program:
- Passing score in Maths in Grade 10; and
- Average of 65% or greater across top five Grade 12 courses (English must be one of the five courses).

University of the Fraser Valley's admission requirements for international students comprise of proof of proficiency in the English language as a major entry requirement. However, Indian students can study in UFV is they hold 65% or greater in English in Grade XII as it fulfills the university's English language requirements.
Despite this, if a candidate does not meet UFV's, they may be eligible for the university's English Language Studies (ELS) foundational English and academic upgrading program.
