University of the Fraser Valley

University of the Fraser Valley accepts country-specific qualifications from Indian students and they must be fulfilled by the applicants in order to secure an enrollment in UFV. These entry requirements comprise of the following:

English language requirements:

• 65% & Above in English in Grade XII; OR
• IELTS: 6.5 & Above (with a minimum band score of 6.0); OR
• TOEFL: 88 & Above (with no section below 20).

Academic Requirements (as per the course of choice):

1) Business Administration Program:

• Passing score in Maths in Grade 10; and
• Average of 65% or greater across top five Grade 12 courses (English must be one of the five courses).

2) Liberal Arts Program:

• Passing score in Maths in Grade 10; and
• Average of 60% or greater across top five Grade 12 courses (English must be one of the five courses).

3) Computer Information Systems Program:

• Passing score in Maths in Grade 10;
• Average of 60% or greater across top five Grade 12 courses (English must be one of the five courses); and
• Students in CIS programs must maintain semester and cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in order to be awarded a certificate, diploma, or degree.

4) Global Master's Pathway Program:

• On-campus: Average of 60% or greater in a three-year or four-year bachelor’s degree program; OR
• Online: Average of 50% or greater in a three-year or four-year bachelor’s degree program.

University of the Fraser Valley's admission requirements for international students comprise of proof of proficiency in the English language as a major entry requirement. However, Indian students can study in UFV is they hold 65% or greater in English in Grade XII as it fulfills the university's English language requirements.

Despite this, if a candidate does not meet UFV's, they may be eligible for the university's English Language Studies (ELS) foundational English and academic upgrading program. Once a candidate successfully completes the ELS program, they will be elligible for securing an admission in the University of the Fraser Valley.

However, in order to get access to UFV's English Language Studies (ELS), students must have the minimum English language exam score requirements listed below:

• IELTS: 6.5 & Above (with a minimum band score of 6.0); OR
• DET: iBT: 71 & Above (with no section below 16); OR
• PTE: 46 & Above (writing: 44); OR
• Duolingo: 90 & Above.

University of the Fraser Valley offers more than 70 programs for international students, which include 4-year bachelor's degrees, 2-year undergraduate diplomas, 1-year certificates as well as post-baccalaureate and master’s programs. UFV's programs offer flexibility for international students, by providing hybrid (in-person/online) classes for more flexible schedules. Overseas students are also allowed to change their programme with full credit. Prospective students of the University of the Fraser Valley get the opportunity to choose from the following courses:
