As per the employment report for 2022, the Uni of Waikato placement rate was 88%. The average salary of the university's graduates was NZD 60,000 - NZD 69,000. Also, 66% of the students undertook internship or work integrated learning.

The Uni of Waikato Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship for India is for the students at the UG, PG, and Research level. This scholarship is for the all areas of study and is reviewed monthly. An application has to be submitted for this scholarship. The amount for this scholarship is up to NZD 15,000 towards the tuition fees.
