Yes, the University of Waikato offers scholarships as well as bursaries to their international students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and research degree courses. Most of the University of Waikato scholarships are applied automatically. However, a separate application is required for a few courses.

For majority courses, applicants do not to pay any University of Waikato application fee. However, the university does charge an application fee of NZD 500 = INR 24,434 for the LLD, DLit and DSc applications.
