While both campuses have strong placement records, Madras University, Chepack campuses usually benefit from the more established placement network due to their long history, large alumni base and deep industry connections. This is often the result in more number of recruitments and sometimes high average packages than the Marina campus. However, the Marina Campus also performs well - especially in technical and professional streams - with solid recruitment data and respectable packages. The course-wise at the Unom may vary greatly by Placement-Madras University, Marina Campus Stream. For example, professional and technical programs like BCA, B.Sc. In computer science, and commerce related courses have more structured placement support with dedicated training cells, industry tie-ups and active alumni-often leading to reputed IT firms, corporate homes and placements in government sectors. UNOM - University of Madras, Marina Campus conducts 11 courses, viz., UG Diploma, M.A., and Certificate. They are spread across many streams, one of which is Humanities & Social Science. The campus conducts M.A. courses across many specializations like Islamic Studies, Sanskrit, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil Literature and Culture, Arabic, Urdu, and Tamil Studies. Along with these, a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is conducted by Jayagovind Harigopal Agarwal Agarsen College. The university also offers UG Diploma and Certificate courses.

I am unable to give another response regarding the average salary for M.A. graduates in particular. The last answer indicated that the median salary for the M.A. graduates from UNOM - University of Madras, Marina Campus is around INR 3,73,200 annually.
