Yes sure please appear for the SRMJEE exam in order to get a seat in SRM, Chennai campus.
The SRM, Chennai branch is the SRM main branch in India so the cutoff for that campus goes higher so you need to work hard for getting the SRM Chennai campus. Also, SRM Chennai is best than the rest of branches of SRM in area of placements, faculties, and infrastructure.
