There are four sections, A, B, C and D, from where questions are asked in the UP CPET exam. The individual weight of each section is 25%. For section A there are various subjects like Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Electronics/ Statistics / Psychology. The questions from this section asked will be in one topic only, which will be chosen by the applicants.

Candidates need to upload the scanned copies of their Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, a recent passport-sized photograph, a signature, and a valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport). For reserved category candidates, a caste/category certificate is required while filling the UP CPET application form 2025. To fill the UP CPET form, students need to use domicile certificates for Uttar Pradesh residents during counseling.

After that, applicants need to enter personal details like name, email, and mobile number and set a password. At last, upload documents, and pay the application fee.

Students who want to fill out the UP CPET application form must note that there are different fees for different categories of candidates. The UP CPET application fees 2025 for the general category are INR 3000. While for the (SC/ST/PwD) category applicants, it is INR 2000.

As per the official notification issued by the authorities, for the UP CPET exam only candidates who have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh (the candidate has the domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh issued from a competent authority or the candidate has passed the 10th and 12th intermediate (10+2) board exams from Uttar Pradesh) will be eligible to take admission in the government college.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, UP, Lucknow (ABVMU) which is the exam-conducting body of UP CPET will conduct the UP CPET 2025 exam in both languages, which are English and Hindi. But students are advised that in case of discrepancies in the exam the CPET question written in English language will be given prefernce.

The ABVMU has declared the UP CPET 2025 result on July 1, 2025. The exam conducting authorities released the results in the online mode on the official website. Students need to enter their login credentials, which are registration ID and password. Candidates can check their scores and rank on the official website by logging in with their credentials.
