UP CPET 2025: Counselling Registration & Choice Filling (Over), Seat Allotment, Reporting

The Uttar Pradesh Combined Paramedical Entrance Test (UP CPET) is conducted once a year only. Applicants who want to appear and get qualify in the exam are advised to first fulfil the eligibility followed by filling up the application form. This year in 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in June as per previous year trends. 

Candidates must reach the allotted centre as per the date and time allotted in their UP CPET 2025 Admit Card. Any digital format (on the mobile) of the UP CPET admit card will not be accepted at the examination centre. Hence students are advised to bring the hard copy to the exam centre. 

The UP CPET is a state-level entrance exam conducted in Uttar Pradesh for admissions into Bachelor level paramedical courses. After completing the course, students can make their career in various fields like Physiotherapy, Operation Theatre Technology, Occupational Therapy, and Medical Laboratory Science. 

The authorities have not released the official exam dates for UP CPET 2026 in the official notification. But as per previous year trends, the UP CPET 2026 might be conducted in June 2026. However, when the exact dates will be announced by the conducting authority it will be udpated on the page.

 Candidates need to upload the scanned copies of their Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, a recent passport-sized photograph, a signature, and a valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport). For reserved category candidates, a caste/category certificate is required while filling the UP CPET application form 2025. To fill the UP CPET form, students need to use domicile certificates for Uttar Pradesh residents during counseling. 

UP CPET is organized by an authorized state body designated by the Uttar Pradesh government, ensuring fair admissions to paramedical programs in recognised institutions. The list is given below. 

A) All Government/Private Paramedical Colleges Affiliated to ABVMU
B) SGPGIMS, Lucknow
C) KGMU, Lucknow
D) UPUMS, Saifai

According to the notification issued by the authorities, Students who have a domicile of UP (Uttar Pradesh) or the students has passed 10th and 12th boards exam from UP will eligible to take admission in the govt. college.

Candidates who want to participate in UP CPET exam must know that there are different age-wise as well as educational eligibility criteria. The minimum age limit for admission is 17 years on or before December 31, 2025.

While For B.Sc. Paramedical courses in SGPGIMS, Lucknow, the maximum age limit is 30 years as on December 31, 2025. For other Institutes, there is no Maximum age limit.

To apply for the UPCPET 2026 exam, students are advised to visit the official portal of UP CPET. After that, students need to click on the UPCPET Registration link. After that, applicants need to enter personal details like name, email, and mobile number and set a password. At last, upload documents, and pay the application fee.

Students who want to fill out the UP CPET application form must note that there are different fees for different categories of candidates. The UP CPET application fees 2025 for the general category are INR 3000. While for the (SC/ST/PwD) category applicants, it is INR 2000. 

The applications of UP CPET exam are submitted online through the official portal. Students are advised to first register, followed by providing personal and academic details, uploading of documents, and at last paying of the application fees as per their category.

The UP CPET 2026 admit card will be available for download in June 2026. The UP CPET 2026 admit card can be downloaded by entering the login details. Candidates must check their credentials and exam center details on the admit card.

There are important details mentioned in the UP CPET 2025 admit card which are the candidate's personal details, like name and category. Along with that there will be details like which centre is allotted, exam timings, the schedule of the exam, exam day guidelines, etc. 

After downloading the UP CPET 2025 admit card, applicants are advised to check the details mentioned in it. In case of any discrepancies in the admit card, students are advised to contact the exam conducting authorities via phone or through email ID and get the correction done in the details. 

There are four sections, A, B, C and D, from where questions are asked in the UP CPET exam. The individual weight of each section is 25%. For section A there are various subjects like Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Electronics/ Statistics / Psychology.  The questions from this section asked will be in one topic only, which will be chosen by the applicants.

Applicants who want to qualify the exam must have an understanding about the marking scheme of UP CPET. There is no negative marking scheme in the UP CPET exam. Hence students are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to qualify the exam. 

The UP CPET examination features multiple-choice questions (MCQs) focusing on Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects of class 12th standard. According to the exam pattern of UP CPET, there will be a total of 200 questions which will be asked in the exam and applicants will be given a total of 200 minutes only to solve the question paper. 

Applicants who want to fill the application form of UP CPET must know the exam centre list as it will help them to reach the exam centre on time and without too much difficulty. According to last year official notification there were a total of 19 UP CPET exam centre cities which students can fill in their application form. 

The UP CPET 2026 official answer key will be released in June 2026. Students are advised to check the official UP CPET for exact dates. However, authorities have not released any window to raise the objections in the UP CPET unofficial answer key. 

The UP CPET 2025 answer key allows candidates to estimate their UP CPET scores by calculating the correct and incorrect answers marked in the exam. After that, it helps with counselling and selecting colleges based on expected UP CPET cut-offs.

 After the UP CPET 2025 result is announced by the authorities, candidates must download their scorecard. If they are eligible for counselling then they need to register for the UP CPET counselling process by visiting the official portal. After attending the counselling, applicants will be allotted their desired college if they secured the minimum passing marks. 

The tiebreakers are resolved in the UP CPET exam based on the below-given methodology. 

• Higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology)/Mathematics/Computer Science/Electronics/Statistics/Psychology in the Test
• Higher marks in Chemistry in the Test
• Higher marks in Physics in the Test
• Higher marks in English and General Knowledge in the Test
• Older age
• Higher class 10th marks percentage
• Higher class 12th marks percentage

The UP CPET 2025 counselling started on July 2, 2025. Applicants who are declared qualified as per the UP CPET results are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The last date to fill for the counselling process is July 9, 2025. 

The purview of the General Knowledge section in UP CPET is very broad. Some of the important subjects that are part of GK section are

• Geography
• Polity
• Economy
• Current Affairs
• Art and Culture

Along with this, there are some more important topics, like day-to-day activities; government schemes can also be a part of GK section.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, will release the UP CPET 2026 seat allotment results on the site. It is tentative to be out July 12, 2026. Students whose names are mentioned in the list will be eligible to further appear for the admission process.

The UP CPET 2026 application form will be released on April 18, 2026, tentatively. Students must complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues. The authorities gave a window of around 40 days to fill the form online.  

The application form of UP CPET will be filled in online mode only.

The ABVMU may declare the UP CPET 2026 result tentatively in July 2026. The exam conducting authorities will release the results in the online mode on the official website. Students need to enter their login credentials, which are registration ID and password. Candidates can check their scores and rank on the official website by logging in with their credentials.

Applicants who appear and qualify UP CPET exam to pursue paramedical course to make a career in it. It is a specialised exam to take admissions into bachelor's level paramedical courses in Uttar Pradesh (UP) state. There is no negative marking in the exam.
