No. candidates who have already registered in round-1 UP NEET counselling don't need to register again. Registration can be done on the official website, upneet.gov.in. Registration will be completed only when registration fee (both refundable and non refundable) are paid. Candidates will have to pay INR 2,000 as non refundable fee for registration.

UP NEET counselling will be held by Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow. Candidates must note the whole counselling process will be held online for seat allotment. Qualifying NEET will be one of the eligibility criteria for counselling. Candidates are advised to check all the eligibility criteria given in the information brochure regarding seat allocation process. Seats are allotted based on choice declared by candidates, reservation factor etc.

DGME, Lucknow conducted total five counselling rounds including a mop-up round for the allocation of seats to the candidate. Candidates needed to register with login credentials generated during application process. Seats were allotted based on choice declared by candidates, NEET 2025 rank, availability of seats in particular college and course, and reservation factor.

Candidates who wish to take admission to government medical colleges will have to deposit INR 30,000 as security money. This will be adjusted against the course fee. Those who seek admission in private medical colleges, they will have to pay INR 2,00, 000. For both government and private medical seats, candidates will have to pay INR 2,00,000.

UP NEET Counseling was held for allotment of 6,428 MBBS and 2,251 BDS seats in 32 medical and 23 dental colleges across the state. The seats were allotted based on declared choice by candidate, availability of seats, reservation factor, NEET 2025 rank etc. A separate result PDF was released for each round of UP NEET 2025 counselling.

Yes, it is mandatory to qualify NEET 2025 to participate in the counselling process. Admission to all UG medical and dental courses in India will be done on the basis of NEET 2025 result only. Based on NEET 2025 score, a state merit list will be released. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in UP NEET counselling 2025. They will have to register and declare preference of choices for seat allotment.

Registration for UP NEET 2025 counselling round-2 began on September 10, 2025. Deadline to submit application form is September 15, 2025. Merit list for UP NEET 2025 counselling round-2 will be released on September 15, 2025. Round-1 counselling result was announced on August 14, 2025. Candidates have to register on the official website and submit application form for UP NEET admission. Based on details in registration form, a merit list is released, comprising shortlisted candidates for counselling. A total of 3 rounds of counselling will be held for seat allotment.
