Candidates can fill out the UPTET application form by visiting the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board at updeled.gov.in.

For UPTET, the minimum qualification varies; that is, for primary teachers, 50% marks in a bachelor's degree are required, or a 2-year Diploma (D.Ed) is required. For upper primary teachers, a bachelor' degree with B.Ed/B.T.C is required.

The major difference between CTET and UPTET is that when candidates clear the CTET exam, it provides a national-level eligibility certificate that can be used across India, whereas clearing the UPTET exam provides a state-level eligibility certificate that is only valid within Uttar Pradesh state.

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will release the UPTET Notification 2024 in the month of October 2024, tentatively. However, UPSSSC has not released any UPTET Notification date yet. The UPTET Notification 2024 will be published on the official website. The UPTET Notification will be released in Hindi in PDF format containing important exam details such as the exam date, the application process, eligibility criteria, answer key, result, qualifying marks, and other important details.
