In the UPTET exam 2025, each paper will contain 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There is no negative marking in the UPTET exam.

The UPTET exam will be conducted in an offline (pen-and-paper-based) test. Candidates will be given a physical question paper and an OMR sheet to mark their answers. Candidates are waiting for the notification.

Yes. A candidate can apply for both Paper 1 and 2. While applying online and if an aspirant want to apply for both the papers they have to pay the fee combined and have to select an option of both papers.

The major difference between CTET and UPTET is that when candidates clear the CTET exam, it provides a national-level eligibility certificate that can be used across India, whereas clearing the UPTET exam provides a state-level eligibility certificate that is only valid within Uttar Pradesh state.
