Yes, the University of South Dakota offers a large variety of student clubs and organizations. USD provides over 200 student clubs and organization for its international and Indian students. Students are free to join any students clubs and organisation based on their choice of interest. In addition, South Dakota University organize over 25 events per week, to keep international and Indian students fully entertained.

The F1 student visa, is the standard visa for international students in USA. For admission to short term, non academic or vocational programs, the M1 visa is more relevant, while the J1 visa is offered to transfer students, taking part in exchange programs. 

Therefore, for students enrolled in full time courses, with a duration of 12 months or more, the F1 visa is the most viable option.

Yes, it is possible to study in the US, without taking the GRE or GMAT exam, as a number of universities in USA, have now started waiving off the requirement, for admission to non STEM courses, for students with a solid academic background, relevant work experience, or a degree from an English speaking nation. 

University of Dayton, Pace University, Villanova University and Sonoma State University are some popular univeristies in USA, known to offer GMAT and GRE free admissions.

To apply for admission to US universities, students must provide the below set of documents, and any other additional programme specific requirement:

  • Official academic trancripts and grades of all past education
  • Proof of secondary school and high school Diploma or degree
  • Valid scores in SAT or ACT
  • Valid scores in GRE or GMAT
  • English Proficiency
  • A CV or Resume
  • Letters of Recommendation and Work Experience Letters (if available)
  • Copy of valid passport
  • Proof of Funds

The OPT allows students to gain practical work experience in their respective fields of study, after completing their program. International students are generally, eligible for an OPT period of 12 months, with a possible extension upto 24 months for STEM graduates. 

The CPT is a work authorization, granted to students, during the course of their studies. The CPT can be both part time and full time, with average duration being around 20 work hours per week
