Yes, international students pursuing their higher studies from an US-based institution can go on to attain permanent residency (PR), also called a green card, in the United States.
To obtain a green card, students studying on an F1 visa (student visa), have to apply for an OPT or STEM OPT Extension followed by an H1B visa (post-study employment visa), for which they must attain a job offer from a recognised organisation in the United States.
H-1 B Visa holders are then eligible to apply for the Green Card.

As per data (Fall 2023) curated from an unofficial source, the total percentage of students which live as part of university maintained facilities is 52%, while the remaining 48% students live as part of off-campus accommodation.
The institute offers accommodation in the form of residence halls, with separate halls for juniors & seniors. Some halls do accept both boys & girls, who live as part of different floors.
