Admission to Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) under B.E./B.Tech will be possible through management quota for students not opting for the entrance exam KEAM. As a result, one must satisfy all eligibility criteria-10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics-and pay the required fees.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Admissions to to the MTech and MCA courses at the VAST - Vidya Academy Of Science And Technology are based on the scores obtained in graduation. While admission to Btech depends on the scores obtained in the KEAM exam. To be eligible for the UG and PG courses at the college, the candidate needs to have a minimum fo 50% marks in class 12th or graduation, respectively.

Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, IBM, Google have recruited from the campus. They have got placements in IT, software development, cyber security, and cloud engineering. The college has placed a good number of students in the campus hiring with over 75% of its students getting placed every year through its placement cell.
