There are mainly 15 seats for lateral entry in every branch. So, if you really want admission to VJTI your Maharashtra rank should be in the top 20. The exact cutoff is difficult to tell because it depends on various factors, like the result of the diploma that year, the no students, and many more. But last year's cutoff for the OBC category is as follows:
1. CIVIL-92.40
2. COMPUTER-94.35
3. IT-93.13
4. ELECTRICAL-93.31
5. ELECTRONICS AND TC-94.13
6. ELECTRONICS-93.63
7. PRODUCTION-78.42
8. MECHANICAL-94.31
9. TEXTILE-77.63
I hope that this will help you
Thanks;)

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, is one of the premier institutes offering BTech in India.
Admission to the BTech program is based on the MHT CET score, followed by counseling.
The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of MHT CET results for the seat allotment process, which is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses.
The cutoffs are released for home state and other state candidates, which are further divided into GOPENS, LOPENS, GSCS, and EWS, etc. categories.
The cutoff for a B.Tech. in Computer Engineering is usually higher than other branches.

In the question you have mentioned about SC/ST category. So I will stick to them only. Generally the cut offs for these categories are low as compared to the General category.
Normally COEP and VJTI have close cut offs and both the colleges are good.
Below I have mentioned some of the predicted cutoffs for COEP.
Computer: SC:160-165, ST:150-155
Electronics: SC:160-165, ST:150-155
Mechanical: SC:170-180, ST:165-175
IT: SC:155-160, ST:150-155
Production: SC: 140-160, ST: 140-160
Metallurgy: SC:140-160, ST:140-160

Good day, Aditya Yogesh Gadage. In the state of Maharashtra, VJTI is the most prestigious institution for engineering studies. Due to this, closing rankings are typically very high across the board, particularly for computer science engineering. Last year, this branch's closure rank was in the neighbourhood of 2000. Throughout spite of this, students can always choose to study CSE at VJTI because the admissions process is centralised in the state of Maharashtra. After some rounds of the admissions process are complete, the centralised agency notifies cutoffs so that students don't unnecessarily choose a stream and college where they ha
