The MHT CET cut off of B.Tech in Computer engineering at VJTI Mumbai is very high in the All India category. The latest trends obtained in General - All India category indicate that the prospective closing percentile usually fluctuates around 99.96 and above due to current trends. What this entails is that in the highly competitive program, it will only take a near perfect score in the MHT CET to score admission into the same.

B.Tech admissions at VJTI Mumbai start only after the MHT? CET exam and its result are out. Once the MHT? CET results are announced (usually mid-June), the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) registration opens (often late June or early July). Seats are allotted via CAP based on merit and CET scores—there's no separate VJTI form

It is unlikely you will get VJTI for Textile Engineering with a score of 82.83 and a rank of 56753 in the EWS category (rank 3705). The cutoff for VJTI's Textile Technology programme is generally higher than the scores you've mentioned, especially for the EWS category.

In the case of VJTI, the application of B.Tech tends to be open with the counseling of Maharashtra CET Cell which starts between June and August. The M.Tech admissions of the 2025-26 academic year opened on the 16th of May 2025, and closed towards June 9, 2025, but the M.Tech applications might be extended into the month of July as well; Ph.D. admissions in the July-December 2025 session opened on 7th of May 2025 and closed on June 2, 2025. Check and recheck the official VJTI web site to get accurate and regular dates of the particular programme and year.

Admission to VJTI Mumbai for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering primarily depends on your MHT CET score or JEE Main rank, not just your 12th marks. VJTI uses MHT CET as the main entrance for Maharashtra state candidates, and the expected closing rank for Mechanical Engineering in 2025 is around 2105 (MHT CET rank), which corresponds to a very high percentile, typically above 98.3 to 99.8 percentile range. So strong performance in MHT CET or JEE Main is essential.

Getting accurate cut-offs of the NT-B Girl category is hard without official and detailed historical statistics specifically in this category to COEP, VJTI, and PICT. Computer Science and IT have very competitive branch-wise cut-offs that often demand extremely high percentile (of 99% or more in MHT CET- General category). When it comes to certain NT-B Girl cutoffs, it would be more productive to check the most up-to-date and corresponding information on the official CAP Round results published by Maharashtra CET Cell or college websites personally.

To take entry to Diploma in Engineering at VJTI Mumbai, learners are not usually expected to attend entrance exam such as MHT CET or JEE Main (who are intended to earn B.Tech). Rather, the entry is directly merit-oriented with reference to the scores you can get in your Class 10th (SSC) or corresponding examination.
The process is carried out in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. The minimum marks you should have are aggregate marks of 35% in Class 10 th in a recognised board.
