The Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) programme is offered by the Assam Agricultural University's (AAU) constituent college, Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science (LCVSc). This five-and-a-half-year undergraduate programme includes a six-month internship requirement. For this program, the college accepts about 30 students a year.

Through its Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex (TVCC), which offers first-hand experience in animal treatment LCVSc prioritizes practical training in addition to academic education.
