To join the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria and take an entrance exam:
Eligibility
Pass 12th class with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, including English. The aggregate is calculated from the best four subjects, including English and compulsory subjects.
Entrance exam
Take the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIPU. VIPS also accepts CLAT scores for law and CAT scores for business administration courses.

The Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) in New Delhi does not follow CUET merit list for admission it follow CUET merit list but for remaining seats it follow CUET merit list for most of the course it follow CET merit list
BA LBB- opening rank is 1724 and closing rank is 2527 for students lived in Delhi and out side Delhi opening rank is 2202 and closing rank is 3455
BBA LLB- opening rank is 2093 and closing rank is 2992 for students lived in Delhi and out side Delhi closing rank is 4160
