Recently, I went to Orane International Academy located in Chandigarh. I was amazed to SEE the interiors and the friendly gesture of the staff. Actually, I went there with my cousin sister who wants to take admission in the academy for the Diploma In Professional Make-Up Course. We had a great meeting with one of their consultants and she gave us a proper tour of the academy too. I was surprised to SEE that the institute is equipped with all the latest equipment and each of them was working. The basic minimum eligibility for pursuing B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics is a X and XII qualification from a recognized educational board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects at the intermediate level, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
Some universities/ colleges also accept Botany/ Zoology/ Computer Science/ Biochemistry instead of Biology as one of the main subjects studied in class XII.
Admission to the course at some colleges and institutes offering B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics is based on the candidates performance in the relevant entrance examination conducted by the concerned university.

Yes, you can do this course. As in Indian Education, there is no subject or stream which has this subject before graduation. You can pursue it without any prior knowledge.
