Obviously because it is highly ranked, the higher the ranking tougher is to get admission. If you look at it the reverse way they are highly ranked because they are selective. Universities must be selective and competitive in their admission process so that they produce good students. I hope you got some clarity. And by the way, UOT which I believe is University of Toronto is also very competitive and in par with UBC.

All Canadian universities ask for minimum 60% percentage, counted as per Indian standards, for you to qualify for applying in Canada.

Obviously, studying in Canada is more beneficial because there you will get more knowledge and help for future. If you can spend such heavy amount to go and study in Canada, then go for it. Else go for DU.

You must decide this yourself. Canada being a finance center of the world, a B.Com and CPA will be more beneficial provided you have the interest and passion for finance, accounts, etc. If you are interested for a finance career then this is the course you should opt.
Students in the accounting and financial management (AFM), Biotechnology/CPA, and mathematics/CPA programs can combine their undergraduate studies with the Master of accounting (MAcc) graduate program to move directly to the CPA common final examination (CFE) after graduation.

Ranking wise, UBC has a better repute globally. Both the universities are great , have a wonderful learning environment and opens doors to a plethora of opportunities.

You have to give bith of the exams. IELTS is the International English Language Testing System which tests English proficiency across the globe. The SAT is a standardised test widely used for college admissions abroad. Both are mandatory.
