A student who is over 18 years of age and studying an undergraduate programme at a university outside the UK or is registered as an international student at a UK university, is eligible for BISS. The students must be of good academic standing and meet the BISS English Language and subject-specific requirements as well. Academic programs include British Cultural Heritage, The Biomedical Science Research Challenges, English Language: Communicating with Confidence, Film & Media, Global Environmental Issues, and Mathematical Finance & Financial Time Series Analysis. Both, Coventry and the University of Manchester are ranked among the top universities in the UK. According to the QS World University ranking, there is an increase in Coventry University's ranking while a decrease in the University of Manchester's ranking.
