For the UG courses, the acceptance rate for UW Madison is around 41% (Fall 2025). The Graduate School of UW Madison had an acceptance rate of 29% for Fall 2024. These acceptance rates show that this university is very selective. For admission to this university's courses, Indian students should have a great academic record.

Indian students are allowed to apply for up to 3 programs in 1 intake whether its summer, winter or fall. Application fees will be required for first application to University of Wisconsin Madison and fee for next 2 applications for same term will be waived.
