Candidates must complete a four-year bachelor's degree with 7.5 CGPA out of 10 or, master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate to apply for PhD programme at XIMB Bhubaneswar. Aspirants must have documents proving their eligibility for verification.

Aspirants must pass 3 year bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with a at least 55% aggregate from a recognised university to apply for EMBA programme at XIMB.
Aspirants must also have atleast 3 years of work experience in executive capacity in an organisation of repute in public, private or non-governmental sector. Self-employed persons with at least 5 years of experience can also apply.

XIMB selects candidates based on entrance exam scores of candidates. Aspirants must have scores in CAT, MAT, XAT, X-GMT, etc. for admission to MBA and Executive MBA courses. Selected candidates also need to pass a written test and GDPI round. Admission to PhD course is based on X-RAT/ UGC-NET followed by PI and other selection rounds.

For getting admission into XIMB by the help of MAT, you need to first complete your graduation with more than 50% and hence now you need to crack the written examination of MAT and hence the personal interview.
