We are not asking for top-notch equipment but at least a little upgrade.
Placements: In our final semesters, different companies visit the university for placing students, and the university faculty also helps us prepare for the interviews. After talking to seniors, we get to know they do get placements according to their knowledge. Although the majority of the companies are not good enough, these are the words of seniors.
Infrastructure: The university has separate classes for every activity, like the auditorium, grounds, library, cafeteria, hostel, canteen, etc. All of them are pretty outdated and need immediate repair and upgrades. The food in the hostel is not good enough, and the maintenance of the equipment is done only when there are new admissions or quality inspections.
Faculty: Faculty make sure that students get enough teaching and material to pass exams and enough knowledge for students' future. Teachers are well experienced and are industry experienced, and they share every bit of knowledge they have and have gained throughout their time in industry.

Good educational experience.
Placements: There are around 20 students in the first year. The average fee is Rs. 60,000 per semester. Companies and studios like Cizarra Film Studio, OnyxSoul Studio, Blue Tea India, and many more offer opportunities. Editing and cinematography are the most required skills for jobs in my course. Career options include cinematography, directing, writing, acting, and sound designing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure includes a cinematography studio, photography lab, and library. There is a vegetarian canteen, table sports, and games facilities. Wi-Fi is available only for staff. The internet connection is not very good, as it disconnects easily. There are no proper medical facilities. They do not have allergy medicines, only basic medicines. Hostel is good for students staying there. University is far from the city. It makes it difficult to go out frequently. University takes students into the city every two weeks.
Faculty: The courses are very informative and educational. They are helpful for students from beginner to professional levels. The basics of cameras are taught in detail. Teachers ensure that students understand and remember camera functions and how to best utilize them. The course is not very difficult.
Other: I chose the course because it was the only university willing to send me the curriculum. It provides information about the course, campus crowd, and interactions between departments.

Excellent faculty, but very average infrastructure
Placements: 10% of the students get placed. Packages offered may be around 1 LPA. I don't really know about the companies yet. There are very few in my knowledge. There is no such thing as placement in the music industry. But there can be internships leading to contracts. The only thing that keeps us coming to the classes is our faculty.
Infrastructure: The department needs to add more equipment. The hostel is fine, though a few more facilities are expected by students. First aid is available. The college somehow isn’t able to provide enough equipment and runs on the bare minimum. Despite the facilities being supportive and excellent, we feel the genuine need for more equipment. There is a serious issue of a lack of good infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are the best part of this course. The course is completely relevant. Exams are well prepared and conducted, and the passing percentage is very decent. Only if you are truly passionate about your art, you be satisfied here.
Other: I chose this because I want to be a musician. Teachers are excellent, but the college lacks equipment heavily. The college needs to honor our faculty members with good and efficient equipment.

A really nice atmosphere and very good value for money.
Placements: Most of the students get placed about 90 percent and the packages can be decent ranging from 3 LPA to 12 LPA. Companies like Aaj Tak, Prime Focus, and Reliance have hired the students and the exposure from this college is really good as the faculty members are well-established professionals as well.
Infrastructure: Clean washrooms and classrooms and the infrastructure is good as well. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus and the labs are well-equipped with decent machines. All classrooms have projectors and screens for an easy teaching and learning experience. Very well worth it.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. Very experienced and insightful. Teaching methods are also good. Our course is well structured. Faculty members have a really good grasp of the software and the software taught is really relevant and recommended for industry experience.
Other: Very nice and quiet environment and everyone is very supportive and helpful.

The college is good to learn something but not good enough to be recommended.
Placements: Placement is low and the average package offered is also less. A less amount of internship is offered, and no industrial visits are done. The college does not show much concern about the weak students. The college doesn't allow any extra internship before the 6th semester, which I personally find a loss for students.
Infrastructure: Hostel Wi-Fi and infrastructure are not up to the mark, but the library and classrooms are satisfactory. Hostel facilities are very poor, with no immediate medical services, Wi-Fi issues, and food that was not of good quality. The canteen is not that hygienic, and the area does not even provide good quality internet or cellular data.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. I would rate the teaching quality as average. Industry readiness can be said as yes and no; some courses are a waste and some need to be taught for a long time in order to master them. Semester exams are tough, with a passing percentage of 40%.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, and knowledgeable and helpful faculty members.
Placements: In our university, students get placements in known brands and companies for jobs and internships. Students also get paid internships along with their studies. Maximum students got internships in their courses. Students also go for craft documentation to learn more skills.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our department are well maintained. In our garment construction lab, there are many machines in which we do hands-on practice and learn stitching and parts of machines. The facilities in the hostel are clean and hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is very helpful to learn things easily. The semester exams in this college are conducted within 6 months, and in 3 months we have to give mid-semester exams to know what we have learned in the past days.
Other: In this university, I chose this course to learn more things and do experiments in this field. We participate in annual fests and events to become confident.

I looked into AAFT University of Media and Arts when my cousin was exploring media colleges. From what I gathered, placements are decent if you're proactive with internships and portfolio building. Since it's a creative field, skills and practical experience seem to matter more than grades. I have h
